The offering as part of the Yadnya Kasada Festival is held at 6 and 7 July 2020. Culture seekers, safe the date! On the 14th day of the Kasada month according to the traditional Hindu lunar calendar, the Tenggerese make the journey to Mount Bromo and offer rice, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and livestock.

Bromo caldera closed for all motorized transport from 23 January till 25 February 2020. One can walk to the top of Mount Bromo and to the sunrise-viewpoints or rent a horse.

To reduce Bali plastic waste the Denpasar city government will ban the use of plastic bags in modern shops, stores, shopping centers, and traditional markets from 1 January 2019 onwards.

After being included in the list of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites, now the Borobudur temple is in line to enter the Memory of the World list. Submissions to enter the Memory of the World list were carried out one year ago and the decision will be made between 27 October and 3 November 2018.

At Kampung Cempluk Festival in Malang city cultural arts are shown,including Barong Singo Art, Pencak Silat, Kuda Lumping and AndeAndeLumut. The Festival will be held from 23 September 2018 to 27 September 2017. “Entrance” is for free.
