Monthly allowances

It is very simple. We - Imam and Agus & Martine - have "enough" and would like to do something for those who definitely haven't. Can't be simpler.
Smartine Indonesia Travel donates a certain percentage of every tour and Imam searches monthly for sponsors.

Mrs. Munir - close up - the washing lady in Kampong Klojen, MalangAlmost every kampong in Malang has a public toilet and shower as many houses don't have a bathroom of their own. Houses in the kampong can be small. Not even 20 m2 for a family that can consists in 6 people, if grandma, grandpa and some uncles or aunts come along.

Mrs. Munir - washing & toilet lady in Kampong KlojenEverybody who comes to "her" toilet has to pay; for showering IDR 2000 and for a pee IDR 1000. From the income she also has to pay the water bill, besides making sure it is clean. She earns some extra money by doing the laundry for others. As she is getting older - she walks bent - doing the laundry is getting more difficult. As a result, her income drops.

In the past she married. She was the second wife of her husband. She didn't get any children. She was given this job to provide for her own livelihood. She does this job certainly more than 40 years. She eats what she gets or can buy.
