It is very simple. We - Imam and Agus & Martine - have "enough" and would like to do something for those who definitely haven't. Can't be simpler.
Smartine Indonesia Travel donates a certain percentage of every tour and Imam searches monthly for sponsors.

disabled man 150A happy lady on the beach, carrying her grand daughter... Soon we are chit-chatting on the beach. Once we are about to say goodbyes, we ask where we could buy some mineral water. She tells us "just behind my house on the main street". Her house is on the beach. When we pass her house, we switch our head to secretly peek inside as we are passing through a smelling and real dirty In front of the house of the disabled man - it is a mess and it smells"front-garden". What we see, made us hesitate; stop or walk. Another little child sitting on a mattress next to her grandpa with a chamber pot next to him. He doesn't seem to move or respond. As we are a bit shocked by the darkness, the smell, the amount of mosquitoes and the contrast of the child and her grandpa, we ask.

This lady is taking care of her husband for over a year. He experienced a stroke, after which he is just lying on his bed, unable to move and talk. As health conditions aren't even near as good as western standards and care at home or aftercare are unknown social support, this man is just waiting....
The next day - we were still surprised - we walked by again... But all the same...
